NELSUS Head of Tax Services
Born in 1978 in Olur district of Erzurum, he completed his primary, secondary and high school education in his district.
In 2000, he graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Public Administration.
He completed his master's degree in Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Financial Law, Department of Financial Law with his thesis on "The Principle of Legal Security in Taxation". He is currently studying for his PhD (R&D Incentives - Thesis Stage) at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Finance.
In 2001, he started his civil service life in the Ministry of Health and continued as an Assistant Tax Inspector in the Ministry of Finance. In 2004, he started to work as a central audit staff as a Trainee Revenue Controller in the Ministry of Finance. As a result of the professional qualification exam, he was appointed as Revenue Controller in 2008 and as Tax Inspector with the Decree Law No. 646 published in 2011.
Between 2011 and 2014, he served as Bahçelievler, Avcılar, İkitelli, Bayrampaşa, Topkapı and Fatih Application Group Manager in Istanbul Tax Office Presidency. On 23.07.2014, he was appointed as the President of Kocaeli Tax Office by the Decree published in the Official Gazette. He continued his presidency until the end of 2016.
Between 2017-2019, as a Tax Inspector within the Istanbul Large Scale Taxpayers Group Presidency, he carried out inspections in various sectors (banking and finance, fuel, construction, sports clubs, etc.). Within the Group Presidency, he served as a full member of the Notification and Inspection Requests Evaluation Commission, Report Evaluation Commission and Invitation to Authorisation Commissions.
As of the end of 2019, he resigned from his position as Tax Inspector and became one of the founding partners of NELSUS Kurumsal Hizmetler Denetim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş.
Between 2018-2020, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of Tax Problems Journal. He has many articles published on tax legislation.
